Hospice / Palliative Care

Comfort at Every Stage

Our McKinney hospice and palliative care program provides supportive care for patients facing critical or terminal illness. Palliative care may begin immediately after diagnosis and focuses on improving quality of life. It aims to relieve pain, symptoms, and stress caused by the illness while allowing the patient to maintain their preferred level of activity whenever possible.

For patients with pain or symptoms that cannot be managed in a home setting, we offer General Inpatient (GIP) hospice care—a short-term, intensive level of care delivered in a clinical setting. GIP is designed to stabilize acute conditions, allowing patients to return to more comfortable care settings when possible.

Hospice Care: Dignity and Peace

When curative treatment is no longer the path forward, hospice care provides compassionate support focused on comfort and quality of life in the final stages. Our hospice services address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs as patients near the end of life.

Our team is dedicated to preserving dignity, providing comfort, and ensuring that patients spend their final days surrounded by compassion and respect.

Support for the Whole Family

We understand that serious illness affects not just the patient, but everyone who loves them. Our team provides guidance, emotional support, and resources for family members as they navigate this difficult journey alongside their loved one.

Medicare Coverage

In some circumstances, Medicare provides benefits for hospice care. We encourage you to visit Medicare.gov or speak with our admissions team to learn more about coverage and payment options.
